Happy Spring!

We have Open Houses scheduled:

Tuesday, May 14, 6:00-8:00 pm

Tuesday, May 21, 6:00-8:00 pm

There will be tours of the studio along with live student demo’s that day. Stop by and enjoy the fun! Open house special – New Students receive half off registration fee if register during open house for the 2024-2025 dance season.  Share with family and friends. Stop by and register. We would love to see you there.


Summer Sessions and Camps – Register Now. We have summer classes and camps for everyone! Register early to guarantee placement. See the attached registration form for all available programs.

Tuition

Tuition is due each month, first class of the month. Any payments received after the 15th of the month receive a 10% late charge on any unpaid balances. You may pay your account by Cash, Credit or Check. Please call the office at any time if you are unsure of your balance and will be happy to go over the account with you. 

If you wish to change or withdraw from any class without notification, you will be responsible for all balances due through the end of the month you make the change or withdraw. Payments are averaged over the 10 month calendar year, taking into account a 3 to 5 week month and including rehearsal week. When registering for the dance season you are registered for classes from September till June.



In our continued efforts to keep the lobby less congested you may sign up for the convenience of auto pay or call the studio to pay with a credit card over the phone. Our staff is always available during the evenings to assist you with payments after 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and Saturday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Costumes

Costumes have been ordered and should begin arriving in May. As the costumes arrive, we will have the students try them on in class for proper fit. Students will NOT be dismissed to the restrooms for try on, please make sure that the students are attending weekly properly dressed in a dance leo and tights to assure your child gets to try on. Costume balances will be posted to your account by the end of this month. Costume balances will need to be paid in full when June tuition is due. Costume pick up will begin June 1st. 

GOLF TOURNAMENT

HELP NEEDED! .Members of our competition team will be traveling to New York City to perform in “Dance the World” in July. We are looking for businesses interested in sponsoring our annual golf tournament held in June. If you have a business and would like exposure to many of our dance family and friends this is a great way to get your name out. See the front desk for our sponsorship opportunities from a simple donation to sponsoring a hole the day of the event. Your help is much appreciated, Thank you!

It is that time of year to register for our annual CMC Dance Golf Tournament. On Saturday,

June 1st the CMC Competition team will host its annual golf tournament at Northern Pines on Route 31. If you are a golfer come join the fun. You can register at the front desk. It is a sellout event each year, register early! Lots of great raffles, silent auctions and a prize for each guest. Hope you can join the fun. Don’t golf? You can still join us after, individual banquet tickets available.

For the best possible learning experience, please attend class weekly and on time. Keep absences to a minimum for optimal learning. Classes cancelled due to weather or illness are non-refundable. No Make-up classes will be available; you will not be able to attend another class to make up a missed class for any reason. No refund for a missed class. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Dress Rehearsal Reminder

Our dress rehearsal/photos will be scheduled for the week of June 10, 11, and 12. Rehearsal will be held at the Studio. Recital is June 14th, 6:30pm for competition groups, solos, graduating competition seniors and adult groups. 

 

June 15th we have 3 Performances:

1.  10:00am will include Saturday morning students

2.  1:00pm will include Monday night students

3.  4:00pm will include Wednesday night students

 

Please make sure that you reserve this week for rehearsal and recital weekend.

 

We are nearing the last part of our year, for our teachers to serve your students better, we require proper dance attire for all classes: All students must wear hair up in ponytail. As the weather improves, it is tempting to show up in shorts and t-shirt…please do not send the students to class this way. We appreciate your cooperation.

Cancellation of Classes

Cancellation of classes are non-refundable. Our cancellation policy:



  • If the CNS school district is closed or implements an early dismissal due to WEATHER we are closed.
  • If the CNS school district has a one or two hour delay we are open.


When in doubt if we are closed, please check our website or Facebook page. We will also send out an email notice. Please be sure you have an email on file.

Class Attire

For class we require the following to be worn; leo and tights for each class with the exception of Hip hop.


  • Hip Hop students may wear sweat pants or comfortable clothing that they can move in. Please bring a pair of clean sneakers (DO NOT WEAR IN FROM THE OUTDOORS)
  • Tap students should have black tap shoes
  • Ballet students should be wearing pink leather ballet shoes (not ballet slippers),
  • Jazz students should be wearing tan jazz shoes
  • Acro students wear footless tights
  • When in doubt contact the CMC Dance Shoppe for assistance.

Recital

Recital will be held at Liverpool High School again this year. Liverpool HS is located on Wetzel Road in Liverpool. The recital will be held on the weekend of June 14/15th. All students are invited to participate.


The Recital Fee of $30 includes 2 single show admission tickets and a digital download.  Advance sale tickets go on Sale June 1st. 

Waiting Area / Parking Lot

Our waiting area is open for all family and friends waiting for dancers while in class. We ask that if you bring food in, you clean up your trash and put it in the trash receptacles before leaving. We also ask that you do not allow the children to practice, do acro tricks or run in the lobby. The floors are wet and slippery this time of year. TV monitors are on for your convenience to view classes, however, they go out from time to time because of internet interruption or loss of power. We apologize for the inconvenience.


While driving in and out of our parking lot please use caution. PLEASE STOP AT THE STOP SIGN BEFORE DRIVING TO THE BACK OF THE PARKING LOT. Always drive slowly and watch for students between cars going into and exiting the building.  Do not park or wait in front of the main entrance at any time. The flow of the parking lot is one way. Please park and when you see your student exit the building drive around for pick up or we advise walking to the door to assist them to your vehicle.  It is imperative that we keep the flow of the parking lot moving. We appreciate your help and cooperation to keep the parking lot as safe as possible.

CMC Dance Shoppe

We have a dance apparel shoppe on the premises. The shoppe is located inside the studio off of the waiting room for added convenience. We carry all the necessary items needed for class and many new items in stock ready to purchase. The dance shoppe is open during business hours:


Monday, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm 
Wednesday, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
Saturday, 9:00 am-12:00 pm



If you know your shoe size you may order through the online app and have the items shipped to your home or ready for pick up when you arrive. Check us out online. Please contact the office at 315.699.2355 with any questions
